The quintessential figure of the Québécois mother, Mommy has managed to survive every era (not just the Boomers), from the King’s Daughters to the Quiet Revolution. Except now, abandoned in a decrepit old age home, she’s kicked the bucket. But you haven't seen the last of her! Mommy, now a mummy, has come back to life and is ready to rap about her outrage. Alongside her crew of undead who’s whos from Quebec’s history, she devours anything that gets in her way.
A slightly over-the-top zombie horror musical, Mommy is a hip-hop show - with an MC/DJ and an undead crew - which combines pop culture, politics, and Quebec history.
MOMMY
We had a date with history,
but couldn’t remember where we were supposed to be.
What? You forgot? Well, I got news and it’s legendary.
The past has a name... And the past is me!
