JEAN DIT
2018
An evening of death metal for anonymous liars
Premiered at Centre du Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui, Montréal
February 20th to March 17th 2018
Running time — 110 minutes
In a world riddled with lies, a group adopts the quest for truth above all else. Jean starts out as a character from a game, but winds up becoming a supreme being who punishes liars and redeems those who tell the truth.
Jean dit depicts a demoralized society which has lost faith in its institutions and turns to an imaginary authority figure, ridiculous and random as it may seem.

My friends say I’m too direct. I like that better than beating around the bush.
I hate lying. I always tell the truth. Tell me something about yourself
